Gulp is a development tool, which can be used to automate or speed up tasks you need to do in development. Doing these tasks manually can sap a lot of your development time, and can be prone to mistakes.

Here are a few examples of how I use it:

• Use it in combination with BrowserSync to automatic inject CSS code changes so that I can see them in the browser without the need to refresh (so COOL!)
• Use it in combination of PostCSS to build the CSS for deployment.
• Use it Minify Javascript and Stylesheets(CSS)
• Use it to Move files around into their desired location for running.
